The Bookmarks The bookmarks shown below were designed for the battlecry.org (also known as the "Hitler Youth") protest in 2007 that took place on the steps of city hall in San Francisco. Their claim is that "youth is being corrupted by MTV and the 'homosexual agenda' (as if we're sufficiently organized to actually have an 'agenda'). It is my allegation that battlecry.org is simply another group that tries to control kids - malleable, beautiful, innocent kids - by saying that the bible must be interpreted literally. As i have explained on many occasions and here, since no one can prove that their belief system is fact, then all belief systems are fiction, or perhaps it would be more appropriate to say that all belief systems are theories. For a theory to be proven to be true, both of the following rules must be met:  (1) the entire theory must be true, and if even one portion of the theory is proven false, then the entire theory is proven false; and (2) the theory must work in all cases.  If the theory fails either of those two rules, then it is false.  This is the definition of a theory. So for someone to say, "the bible is the literal word of God and thus must be followed exactly as written", they are positing a theory.  If anyone can prove that the literal interpretation of the bible is contradictory (which would mean it does not work in all cases) or that the bible cannot be followed in a literal sense, then one disproves the theory that the bible is the written word of God and it must be followed exactly as it is written. Ok?  Ready?  Then please read the bookmarks and come to your own conclusions...
